Default cooling fan

what is the best way to keep cooling fan on constantly while car is running??? I already attempted to run a wire from the ignition spliceing it into the power wire on the fan but when i did that, I would notice my car running funny and acting weird when i turn the key off the car would shut off with a different sound than normal.
I have a b16 motor. thanks in advance any help would be appreciated.

jump the plug

unplug the connector to the fan, and there should be 2 prongs......just get a paperclip and jam it into the plug...this will allow the fan to run at all times that the car is running

you could probably use a relay and run that same wire that you had directly to the ignition to the relay so its a switched source.. how did it act different? and does your car really get that hot that it over heats and the fan has to always be on?

it acts "different" like when i turn the car off it still runs for about 2 seconds longer than normal then shuts off. I know it sounds weird but it does, anyways I have a jackson racing supercharger and this + hot *** weather makes car get quite warm when driving (usually 210 F) i will go ahead and just connect the two prongs on the plug at the fan to keep it running constantly. will that work? thanks for the help
