A few Questions about my recent swap
I just swapped a JDM h22a into my 94 SI. I used a p13 Jun chipped ECU and DC sports header. When the I finished the swap I drove the car under 3000 Rpm for about a week on the stock h23 ECU until my p13 arrived. There was np check engine light until the day the new ecu arrived so I ignored it and swapped ECU's. The check engine light is still on and reading code 1. (all long flashes) which is the code for the 02 sensor. I replaced the 02 sensor and reset the ecu and still the light is one and reading code 1. I pulled the wiring diagram and checked the connector on the shock tower for a loose conection but it is fine. The vehicle seems to be using much more fuel than usual.
Another Question, I bought the p13 ecu with a jun chip which is supposed to have vtec kick in at 4600 Rpm but it is kicking in at close to 5800 instead. Is that caused by the Check engine light being on? Does the vehicle run in "Safe mode" or something.
Any other tips from people who have done this swap that will make the car a lot faster are greatly appreciated.
94 Prelude SI
97 H22a JDM swap

AEM CAI, DC sports header. stock SI exhaust.
