Just wondering how come the type Flex are more expensive than the SS? i'm looking at the chart at machiii and the SS seem to fall right in the middle and seem to be more for competition than the Flex. But yet the SS cost less than the Flex, can someone explain?thnx

the flex has a better spring rate than the SS, but you can order the different spring rates from Tein USA, the thing that sucks is each spring is $200. im planning on getting the SS with HA springs.

wow, HA's is way sportier than Flex then...cuz my springrates for my HA's meant for 96-00 civics are 10k/7k....the other week i changed the spring rates to 12k/10k, and it was terrible, it made me feel kinda sick, so i put them back to 10k/7k.

i always thought flex was more sportier than ss, but according to that scale, ss is more sportier and flex is more for comfort.

I was quoted 200 for all four new springs of my choice of spring rate.

i think he was referring to the FLEX, which come with pillowmounts and adj. shock mounts....what vtecvoodoo is selling for $895 shipped is the SS....i think...if it is $895 for FLEX, then that would be a good *** deal.
