Could be your o2 not running properly, sending the wrong signal to ecu.

I had this problem, but only after swapping my jdm b18c into my hatch about a month ago. The MAJOR thing that brought the richness down was simply replacing my iac. I did this because it was bad and my idle was fluctuating like a biotch. To my surprise it cured most of the problem. I then had to replace the throttle body because my tps sensor was busted in shipping(cough....jdmclubsucks.com). Anyways my car was running so rich that gas was actually getting into my oil and would have slowly "kniv-edged" the rings.......leaving me with having to do a ring job down the road. But this is probably not your problem. It is more than likly a bad o2 sensor or even leaking injectors. However please check all of these things that i have listed and you should find your problem somewhere in this madness!-Dylan
