Default AEM Adjustable Fuel pressure regulator

I just installed Spec-As in my car and the tuner recommended that I get some kind of FPR. I was thihking that the AEM unit would be pretty good because it basically, from my understanding, bolts into the stock location. Anyone have any experience with this unit?

Summitracing has them for $189.00

I guess the B&M is an alternative at $59, but you need to cut your oem fpr to fit it on top.

Don't spend crazy money on a AEM one. Just get a B&M one. Way cheaper and does the same thing. Use the money you save to dyno your car again.
B&M is real easy to install anyway. If you can do a header or intake install, it'll be cake to you.

Even IF I was going to spend the cash on a nice one, the Holley one is dope.

I wan't too keen on cutting my factory item to install the B&M, but if you say it's easy...

$150 isn't a bad price for a straight bolt-on solution though.

I dont' think you need a FPR. YOu can just get a tuned ecu, and that will be sufficient. I have spec b's and i can get enough fuel to them at stock pressure.

I was having the problem of having too high of a duty cycle with the stock injectors, didn't want to play around with higher fuel pressure, so I changed the injectors to 310's this weekend.

My AEM FPR took a crap and was shooting gas through the intake manifold. The inside rubber washer is crap. Though I heard that AEM is replacing it with a metal one, dunno how that's gonna work, but im out $170 thanks to the AEM one. Plus head aches trying to find out why my R was throwing cel's and running like crap. Didnt think it was the fpr, till I checked it as the last draw. Pissed me off!!
