Default gsr crx owners....

anyone with a gsr in ther crx around? i know there a at least a couple...
i just got my hands on a 96 gsr motor, and i am in the first stages of planning the swap into my 91 crx. i was wondering about pretty much all aspects about the swap... fitment mainly. is your car lowered? i am planning on using an eibach prokit and was wondering if this causes any problems? what tranny i should go for is another big question? i have a 92 LS cable tranny hangin around but i am not sure thats what i want to use.. or can use for that matter. also, how do u like the finished product? were there any handling preformance decreases? thanks for all your time!

I don't have one, but I want one. Yes your LS tranny will work with the B18C1, I've heard great things about GSR swaps in CRX's, so I can't wait till I have money.

Search for post I've participated in and you'll find alot more info. Easy swap. Kinda tight at first but all works out well. No handling problems and mine is lowered almost to the ground, 3" from ground to oil pan.

Issues you will have when using the hasport billet mounts ( not sure about other brands). Easy fix though when people tell you ahead of time.

You will need a different heater hose
use an older model 87-89 integra speedo cable, crxs are too short
hood will rub no matter what unless you get a sir hood. it's not too bad though, only the edge by the timing belt or if you don't give a damn about your valve cover?

I've heard they sit alittle lower then the hasport, could be wrong though. As for cutting out the hood support, I've done that + added spacers to raise the back with no luck. Will be getting an sir front end to eliminate the rubbing.
