Default updated***B18C Engine arrival and first work pics....not for 56k

97 B18C from Hmotors online, I give steve
The engine was ordered on a Thursday and was here by Tuesday - Ca to VA






Update to today



And the car it is going in, minus the 17s
Rota slips going on soon


Skunk2 cams, quaife, and clutch\flywheel then she is ready to be put in

Currently it is being taken apart for a new clutch, lsd, and to replace all items worn (timeing belt, waterpump, ect ) also to give it a good cleaning, and to check specs on everything.
Not sure about the build up yet, depends on the $$$$ situation.

buy some type r used pistons and rods. the go for about 200-300. u will have some massive hp gains.

They are pretty cheap to, between 30-50

Yes I had to use a hoist, but that is because it is just me. If you had a few friends you could pick it up.

That's awesome that you can bring the motor inside the house to work on it


I live at home with my parents and was lucky to have a corner of the garage for the motor Plus 4 dogs and their hair all over the place sucked *****! The hoses look cut, but the motor looks clean

That will work. That tile is good will spills too But, I know the house I have built will have a garage. I'll ditch the living room before the double garage

How the hell did you get a motor shipped in 3 business days? LOL.

It's hard enough getting a package somewhere in that time!

Good job on the shipper's part.
