Sup everyone, I've got a dohc zc in a 90 ex and I didnt put the smaller ac fan back in, just been running with just the larger rad fan. I left it out while I was messing with my exhaust manifold. I jus kept the rest of the wiring balled up in front of the air filter. So what I'm wondering is is should I put the smaller ac fan back in wire it up? I know the fan comes on when you turn on the ac but would it even come on without the ac?

 

You will be alright without it. However on my car I chose to leave it in, and it seems to come on whenever the radiator fan comes on because I always see both working at once, never just one. I mean what the hell the extra cooling ability can't hurt so why not leave it on.

 

Yah I figured as much, since it has 2 connectors I figured one was for the ac switch and the other ran off the same wire as the plug for the rad fan. Thanks.

 

the a/c needs a fan to cool the compressor...youll mess up your a/c otherwise

 

Read the title, I dont have a/c and was just wondering wondering if there was any point in keeping the ac fan. Besides this post is old and I've since plugged it back in like 4thgen did.
