friend of mine ordered a 1st gen b16 for his 91 si . i went over to wire it up and i look at it and it says 93 on the head and it has an electronic vss on the tranny but the intake has the mpfi wrote on it . does anyone know if it`s a 1st or 2nd gen . on the head between the dizzy and cam cap it says 30 . does it have p30 pistons? is it the 170 hp like mine. head and block are identical to mine but he has the 1st gen intake with writing on it .

 

Japan had the crx until 93 and all JDM crx's had vss, thats why its a pain to put the JDM cluster in a USDM CRX

 

well i got the vss off of it and swapped the cable sensor on it . so now i have a vss if anyone wants it and a couple of odds and ends . resistor box and what not.
