Finish clutch install.... now what
We finished the extreme clutch with a 6 puck disc for the turbo integra(tegasaurus' car). We went for a test run in the driveway(cars were behind us so we couldnt go far) using only first gear and reverse and it worked great. After cleaning up the garage we went for a test run up the street using boost. It drove well in first to second gear(not mashed at all, very slow acceleration) to about 10-15mph, went to a stop, made a right turn in first gear, partial throttle acceleration to 3500rpm then mashed it and it reved as if i was in neutral.
What do you guys think could be the problem? It will go into all the gears but it wont engage. Jacked the car up and put it in gear and spun (by hand) the passanger side wheel and the driver side axel did not move. Is this an axle problem? It looked as if the axel hole was leaking tranny fluid(there was no lights so we really couldnt see where it was coming from, we parked it with a drain pan underneath and left it for the night). Need some input....
Thanks

6 puck= no break in, and there was no laying into it at all, the car was just floored at 3500rpm with clutch fully disengaged at 1200rpm before.

sounds like ur a n00b.
The install went perfect. We've pulled many motors and done a few swaps so its not like we are noobs when it comes to doing things like this.
Could there be a possibility that something is internally wrong with tranny. something else also came to my attention. When we were pushing the car back home i decided to put it in gear to see if it would stop the car, but nothing happened...

We just jacked the car up and we can see that the passanger side axel did pop out. So that is our problem, but we ran into another problem with that. The axel is about 1" out. We cant get it to come all the way out or go in any farther. its stuck were it is now. What do we do?

Were the D-rings on the axles when you put them back in? I can't fathom an axle popping out with a D-ring on, so it kinda sounds like the D-ring somehow came off and is now wedged in there (which might explain the inability to move the axle at all now). I would suggest getting the axle out at all cost, because it is most likely your problem, and you can't really do much else tranny-related until you have them out anyway. HTH.
Thats cool! Did you figure out why it popped out? That way I can add it to my troubleshooting list, just in case it happens to me.
