Default B20 questions

Ok to start off we have a B20 that we are building for a freinds 98 4dr. We've got a gsr tranny being fixed and all the good ol' swap stuff in the works. What we are kinda in the dark about is a good suspension set up now that a larger heavier motors goin up front. I was thinking some (insert brand name) adjustables. Just a thought, not quite sure what to do here really. Any idea's would greatly be appreciated or any info of your experience with a B20 4dr susp. set up.

Seeing that its a 4dr I don't think it could be bigger than a D16y8 unless he did another swap.

I would say go with some koni's or tein but get what you can afford.

so is the d16 staying or being replaced with the b20? either way, a good set-up if money pemits imo would be koni yellows and gc with standard or custom spring rates...depends on what you want to do with the car.

I would suggest either Koni Yellows with GC like the previous reply said or KYB AGX with GC.

I would go with the Koni's but the KYB's are very good and they're relatively cheap.

B20 is going in. I'm just curious if the weight change up front's gonna throw the balance outa whack big time. This is an autocross car so we need it to handle. Think the front end will sag down?

the front end will be a bit lower. but the performance of the motor will outweigh the affected handling. to be honest i didn't feel any change in the handling of my car. then again i was happy to have power. its not like your swappin an h22 motor which weighs way more and is tilted towards the fire wall.

I didnt feel a big change in handling when I swapped either. The braking did change though. I fixed that nicely on my eg with gsr front brakes

Yummy, we could use some gsr brakes. How much/hard was that?

And you leave the H22 alone djhatch
