Default Looking to make close to 300 whp can I use vafc hack?

I am building a turbo kit and I am going to use a T25 or A t28 turbine because I want to be able to have a nice daily driver and have a good auto-x car. I have a 95 si hatch with a jdm gsr swap and will be using an inline pro head gasket. will I be able to get around 300 whp and will it be reliable with the vafc hack????

you wont hit 300 horse off a t25, and you won't do it using the hack either

hack is only good to ~11 psi.
to hit 300 whp, you are going to need mroe than that from even an average size t3/t4

not really..11psi should get you very close to 300hp on a 50 trim t3/t4. The t25 wont get you anywhere onthe gsr motor. It's to small.

get a t3 with a smaller exhaust housing. 300whp is a lot for autox in a FF. You want low-mid 200's if anything.

not quite the hack, but you can safely make 300 to the wheels on a afc/fmu set up. but not on a t25.

I think the SMC handles up to 14psi or so.

If you use larger then 450cc injectors, with the hack you should be able to run higher then 10psi and make over 300hp on a t3/t4

u can use the hack with 20 psi of boost...all u need is to upgrade ur map senor to a GM 3bar map sensor...then u wont run into any cel because of the stock map sensor

why not just get a missing link for $60 and not worry about the hack way. then with the correct size turbo, you can get your 300whp.

still don't understand why doing the HACK is all the hype. especially when the alternative only cost $60 more. ???????? feel free to let me know what the benefits are if any.

You can use the hack for any setup. But Liam explained it using 450s and could only go to 11 psi that is why people think it won't work over 11 psi. Sure it will. You will need a 3bar map sensor tho so you dont throw any codes but that would be all and injectors

True with 3bar map u can run beyond ~11psi.....but running that high a boost with the hack is suicide as you got no timing control. Unless you are running an external timing device but even so, for the money you'd be better and safe with standalone

with the 3 bar timing maps will be off even with a btm. and the 3bar already acts as a voltage cut so u wouldn't have to do the -40% cut on the vafc.

The Missing link wont do that for $60 bucks.

of course it won't tune. i ment for the EXTRA $60 over the cost of a SAFC/VAFC.

as for the 3bar map sensor. how will you set the calibration with a stock(unprogramable) ecu. to run a 3bar properly. you will need hondata or something along those lines.
