1gen B16 GSR CAM SWAP questions before i start. HELP!
ok so i was planning on swapping in my gsr cams into my 1 gen obd0 b16 tomarrow. i just want to make sure i do it right... well i was wondering.... can i do it w/ out removing the head? i've heard you can... and i have a couple of sites that kinda explain it.... just want to make sure.... plus how can i make sure which is which... i did a search too w/ no results.... here's the links:

theres no reason at all that you'd have to remove the head. i dont know where you heard that, but it doesnt make sense. you only have to remove the cams if you're removing the head.
as far as telling which is which, you'll see the slot on the one cam that mates with the distributor, so they'll only fit in there one way.
make sure you do a valve adjustment once the new cams are in, since you will have different lift specs, etc.

in the b16 fsm (online) it says to remove the head.... this is wrong because i've seen it done w/ out removing the head. i'm just gonna follow those 2 sites info... it seems acurate.

i'm removing my stock cams upgrading to GSR cams....
stupidity on my part.... should have known there'd be a slot in intake cam.
