If IB is 40 mins away, and money is no object....then I think you know where you're going.

Seriously, they're good guys that will build you a great motor. Just that their prices are...well, you know. You definitely get what you pay for.

BTW, look for 12.5:1+ CR, Stage 2+ cams, and lots of dyno time. 230whp is do-able...out there, but do-able. Remember, all of your power is in the head.

if money is no object, i would build it right. add some sleeves. maybe an overbore to a 2.0L. 12.5 or 13:1 comp. forged pistons. some H-beam rods. toda or jun race cams with titanium retainers and dual valve springs. re-bearing the entire motor and redo all the components (e.i. water pump, oil pump, timing belt, etc....) Lastly, hondata and a badass tuner. with all this done, i could imagine well over 200+ to the wheels.

Well i believe that when you pull the motor there is NO reason not to replace all bearings, oil pump, water pump etc etc etc if you dont then i think its being sloppy and doing a "half-***" job.

Take the car to autolink in Temple City, CA, 230whp should be no problem to do, these days 230 is a joke to most racers, which is sad for normal people like myself

You can go B20, get some RS sleeves, nice p&p job from portflow, JUN3s or JUN4's if you are that crazy, some nice pistons/rods (your choice, 13:1 i would prefer), a nice header, a SMS header would be good.

Take it to autolink have them put it together and throw it on the dyno to be tuned by the Doc himself.

I've seen as high as 19X's on stock long blocks bolt-on's and much tuning. I think O/S PCT pisotns and thin head gasket or mild mill. Right around 12ish:1. Spec C's and valvetrain, little port work, all the bolt-on's SMSP or Hytech header back, Hondata + Jeff & Jerry. I think you'd be ok and happy with the results you would get. If money is no object then just buy this.
