I heard that there was a new honda bike coming out in the spring, a 1000. I was just wondering if any of you knew anything about it, or had any specs on it. Also, if anyone knows the release date. Any info would be great, thanks!

yes i believe it's the 1000RR, i was just wanderin if there are any specs on it yet, all i read was a small article on it and it seems like it is going to be pretty sweet. I was just wondering, because my boyfriend wants to wait to buy a bike when that one comes out, if it's the real deal.

 

yeah...its the cbr1000rr....its a bad *** bike...but the sorry thing about it is that they are going to stop the production of the recent 954rr....and start on the 100rr.....so its one or the other..

 

Is that bike going to be released here in the states or is it a euro model only???

I heard its going to be faster than the GSXR1000?? If so that'll be awesome.

 

yes, from the little word honda is putting out about it, it's supposed to be faster than the gsxr1000, which is pretty damn quick. I hear it's supposed to hit new shows early september,a nd showroom floors by mid-september. hopefully, the word is true, and I will get to see first hand how quick the new bike is when my boyfriend buys it! I'll let you guys know

 

its called the CBR998RR and it is comming out in september of 2004
