Default Impurities in valve cover?

I have a valve cover, I stripped all the paint off of it and wanted to polish it. It has a fair ammount of impurities in it, like dark spots..etc.. is there anyway to get this out? Let me know if you have any ideas, thanks,
Matt

Just sand the hell out of it... Start with low grit and work up to high grit, like 1000 or 2000 sometimes. If you want to polish it, it will look better the more you sand it.

first you have to de-bur it then polish it.

you need an air powered dremel to get the valve cover even.
