B18A1 valve cover on B18B1
I searched but I can't seem to find the exact answer, forgive me if it's been covered before.
My buddie has a 1996 b18B1 and he wanted me to paint the valve cover on it for him. He gave me the DC side skirts for free, so I am doing this as a favour. He didn't want to be down for long and I told him it would take at least 2 days to strip, sand, prime, paint and let it dry enough to be driven. I have a few spare B18A1 valve covers laying around, so I told him I could paint one of those instead and swap em out in no time at all. He likes the look of the bumpy cover better too, so this would work out great!
I know it will fit on the head just fine, but the 1996 B18B1 valve cover has an extra hose (PCV) from the middle of the valve cover to the IM. Is this required? Will the B18A1 cover work on the 1996 B18B1 head?? If I can put the cover on, what should I do to cap the hole in the IM??
I need to know this asap, since I plan on painting the cover tonight after work if it's compatible.
Thanks in advance...

Re: (h4x)
It fits fine, yes... but can I just plug the extra PCV hole on the B18B1 Intake Manifold?? If so, what's the best way to do this??
