I have a 3" catalytic on my turbo teg, and I'm wondering how much
power it's robbing me? I only boost 8 lbs. The rest of the exhaust
setup is 3" with a 3" straightthrough (with the exception of the 2.5" DP)

Will I be able to get away with a visual/aureal inspection if I gut the cat and
install a pipe through it?

 

u don't need to put a pipe through the cat. just take a crow bar (sp) and slam it through the cat until everything is gone inside. that way theres absolutely no restriction and it still looks like your using a cat. thats what i did...its all good. give it a shot
