The size of the exhaust manifold holes..
This may sound stupid but.. One of my friends picked up a header from Megan Racing the other week. As he went to install it, the holes in the header were smaller than the holes on the engine itself. They're even smaller than the holes on the stock GSR header.. When they asked the shop, they said that's just how they are. They even said that DC headers are like that too..
So my question is, are they a bunch of BS or not..... If not, why would the holes be smaller??.. Any light on this subject would most helpful.. Later..

how much did your 'friend' pay for this meagan header?
A smaller hole will cause lots of flow problems....which is what he gets for buying a POS knockoff header

He said he paid about 200 or so for it along with a Megan Racing Exhaust.. He claims that Megan Racing is really big into Rotarys and such.. Frankly, I've never heard of them..
But what about other headers like the DC.. Could the shop be BS'ing about that too??

the primaries should be about the same size as the exhaust ports.... they're usually not exactly the same, when you port-match that's when you make them exactly the same size.

I remember someone posting a while back that the DC Sports header he had purchased for his car (I'm fairly sure it was a G2 Integra, although I could be mistaken) had port openings that were smaller than both the stock manifold's and the actual head's ports.
