I need help, I owned a 95 GSR which is now totaled. I paid $3000 a year for insurance on the car. I am buying a friends 95 RS, for a very cheap price, Question is how much cheaper will insurance be on an RS then a GSR?

 

This is an open ended question.
1. Some insurance companies threat 2 door integras the same regardless of trim and 4 door integras same regardless of trim.
2. Some threat RS, LS, GS, the same, and GSR and Type R the same.
3. Some threat each trim model different but NOT all trim the same.
4. Some charges more for red colored cars.

It really depends on the company. So shop around and see which works the best for you.

Some companies even threat a DUI and a speeding ticket the same. My brother was an insurance broker for over a hundred insurance companies that is where I got this information.
