So some guy inquires on my beautiful RC440's... great condition. anyhow, i try and get this guy to pay by PayPal (i'm verified). It ends up that i have to do a COD, i really didn't want to, because COD's take forever. And so i send it out. One week later (today), i receive the package back. It notes, " funds not available." i'm like ****, i just got screwed shipping $. Well guess what... that's not all i was screwed. My beautiful injectors had been SWAPPED.. wait wait, let me rephrase, FAWKING SWAPPED out with some old pos STOCK jectors~#~#$~@~@$ i called up UPS, and they're sending an inspector out tommorow (possible " inside" job); i'm guessing it's covered.. but the irony of this situation is twackedly humorous.

I always wondered about this when people would ask to do COD. I imagined the UPS guy walking up to the house, the guy who is receiving getting his girlfriend to sidetrack the UPS dude while he zips into the package and swaps out the item for some dirty undees...

Never COD anything, it's the absolute worst thing you can do. I tell people if they don't want to use paypal or money order then find someone else to buy from. I'm an honest upstanding guy and i expect the same from ppl who buy from me. You'll get ur money back though, UPS doesn't want to lose a customer over such a small thing, remember billion $ company here. I myself use Fedex, and i've had stuff utterly demolished. But they always pay for it cause i ship so much through them. And also if they refuse to pay, go to the next highest power, you'll win, i guarantee it.

Wow, I got a usps COD and they absolutely would no let me open it to inspect until I paid and signed. Must be the shorts.

normally COD policy is that they can not let you open the package before accepting.

That is true but our UPS and Fed EX driver at work will drop packages off and if we don't have the checks ready come back at 4pm for the package pickup and get the money then that gives us 6 hours to do with product as we wish!

Sooooo i sent out my motor to California to DPR and ups used my head for a soccor ball. My 75 lb rectangle box arrived in cali with a corner of the head sticking out and around 2000 bucks worth or damage. They gave me flack about it so i got mad and they sent me a $2800 check. Haahaa can we say free head work because of morons. I sent it UPS Ground and insured it...

 

I've had UPS let me inspect packages before payment. Depends on the driver.

I highly doubt its the UPS guy. Are you people seriously considering this??? The UPS guy delivers tons of high dollar goods day in and day out, why the hell would he want a set of injectors.....hehe if I was a UPS thief, I'd be taking TV's and that sort of thing.

If you send stuff COD the person has the right to open and inspect the package most of the time. I would think that the dude you sold them too probably did a little swicharoo w/o the ups guy noticing, and then saying "uh, i dont have all the money and I changed my mind anyways....send them back to the guy".

really, I work in shiping and hear of this all the time, a COD package the driver is not allowed to let the person open it up before they but it happens all the time. BS you should get your money though.Goodluck
