92 Si problem.....
my girl has a 92 Prelude Si automatic. lately, her shifter is really hard to get out of P. but it can get out with some nice pulling.
everything else seems to be ok, it shifts smoothly, runs good, i just did a major tune-up on it; timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, radiator flush, motor flush, oil change, CV boot, etc. so there is nothing wrong with the car although i'm kind of beginning to worry about the gas mileage it gets now days.
but as far as tranny, it seems to be working very good.
any ideas what could cause the shifter to get stuck in P???

no, i don't think its that... because it shifts very easiliy and smoothly in all other gears. even when i put it "park". but it just feels like its locked in place when i try to take it out of P. then i just pull a little harder and it switches.
all my cars were sticks, so i don't know much about atomatic trannies...
