It is it possible to get a 92 si hatch that runs well, no body damage, and stock for 1k?

it's very rare. i've read of some people getting their hatches for 500+ on this board though.

Very possible, not everyone cares about Honda, or even knows what they are worth to tuners.

like the previous posts, its very doubtful that you will be able to buy a si hatch for that prices...although strangers things have happened...

It needs a new door skin. I am yet to see it, so it could be worse.

I would just keep looking. Anything is possible. And dont look for the ones
that are for sale. People always want a lot if they take the time to sell it.
You need to find one that some one dosnt even want, and thinks its just a
piece of crap. Thats how I got mine. 92cx for 1500$. Its a bit different in
washington though.

I picked up my 92 cx for $1000 body was still in good condition no damage except for clear coat was peeling in one place. And the usual cancer in the rear wheel well. But besides that it was in pretty good condition. That was 5 months ago.

I bought a 92 si about 4 months ago for $500 but it needed a few minor things. The body is in pretty good shape and the int is almost perfect. This one fell into my lap, he called me to see if I wanted to buy it. Wish that would happen more.

I bought my 97 EX cheaper than that at a local auto auction... but good luck, I would be willing to pay 3000 for a 92-95 Si
