i got it....
i have been playing with it till i get it on the dyno...
i currently have found out that if i start to lean it on 1-4k rpms its a bit better

-3 @ 1k
-2 @ 2k
-1 @ 3k
0 @ 4k
+1 @ 5k
+2 @ 6k
+3 @ 7k

works ok for me.... i am still tryin to find out how to have it lean on bottom end and rich it a lil more on top end without having a big jump on the readins and causing my ecu to trow a MAP sensor code

The Field's was alot less "tunable" than the Shogun tuner from Hypertech I used to have. When I had them both on the car, I set VTEC and killed the speed cut on the JDM ecu with the Field's unit, and tuned the car for timing and fuel and rev limit on the SHogun.

I picked up 33 HP on the dyno from tuning my ITR Cams/Intake Mani/TB'ed b16a.

Thas comforting to hear since I have a similar setup

Most of the people I have talked to found leaning it out under VTEC and more fuel after VTEC gives good results, best to only alter it by a small amount. Let me know if your SFC starts playing up, im interested to know how many people have had a similar problem to me.

One thing to keep in mind when using a Fields or VAFC controller and stock injectors. You can't add very much fuel at all, because of the injectors being maxed out. Most tuners would prefer a fuel press reg to increase overall, and the controller to lean it out where necessary. Every motor is different.

Default Increasing Fuel with RPM

I always wondered about increasing the fuel as rpms go higher. Is this really desirable, because doesn't the ecu automatically increase fuel at a linear rate as rpms increase therefore it would make more sense if say u had -2% across the band?

I had a Fields b4 and i did do gradual increase richening, but now I have a VAFC and am using a -3% across the band.

Insights anyone into this issue?

soon enough i will buying a Dyno tune Hour...
when i get it done well see how the Z6 behaves across the powerband...
best way to do it is with dyno tunnig with a wideband.....
well see how good it behaves....
ill keep u guys posted...
