just dyno tuned my car ... sucky numbers and running lean at high end
Alright I thought today would be the end all to my problems but i guess not. I bring it to a really good local tune shop in CT. They install my Apexi RSM and the Field VTEC and Fuel controller for me before tuning... i didnt want to touch the ECU. So the car gets on the dyno and i get numbers like 70whp up until VTEC kicks in at 5200 and the car shoots up to 185 whp. Firstly that is bs that my car, a 6th gen accord 4cyl with F-Max kit hittin 8 lbs, is only makin 185 whp. Whatever... i dont even care at this point just as long as the car runs fine but apparently my a/f ratio is like 13:1 at higher rpms, which is way too lean. I cant understand why this is doin this.... i have a Walbro fuel pump 255lph... 2 extra injectors (440cc), and adjustable FPR. Even when we adjusted the fuel pressure to 60psi at stock the car still is runinng lean. wtf? i dont know what it is? any ideas... playin with the MF-2 box? any help is appreciated.. btw i go bcak on saturday to try tuning it again

well did you use the sfc to richen it up?
What are you using to control the extra injectors?

Yea we tuned it with the fuel controller as much as possible but it still didnt do much... i guess we have to adjust the MF-2, which is the small box which controls the additional injectors

is there all the mods?? i have the same car but with a homemade turbo kit(which it's off the car now due to a bad turbo seal).(without cat, bigger b pipe and 2.5 inch cat back)
btw the stock Fuel psi is 38-40
hacks and peggy back only do so much, just like everyone else, standalone is doing the magic trick..

Is it possible that the stock injectors are maxed out in duty cycle and that the mf2 is not tuned correctly. Just a thought.

Yea.. I had it done at Pruven... I'm going back there on Saturday to try it again.. this time we're gonna adjust the MF-2.. we ran out of time yesterday... Im trying to get in contact with F-Max to find out whether i should also just upgrade the injectors and if so to what size and what brand.. any ideas on that?

have Kenny or Dan tune it.
Kenny did my buddy's ITR and it came out great. super flat curves. and that was on a vafc.
