Default Tightening Oil Filter

What do you folks use to tighten your oil filter? I just used my hand and elbow grease, is a wrench needed? If so where do I get one and how much do I tighten? Thanks.

i oil the o-ring. then i turn it by hand until the o-ring just barely touches the block. then turn it 7/8 of a turn. oh, i use a filter wrench i bought from autozone for like $3. attaches to the end of a ratchet.

I like to use the Honda filter wrench and Craftsman Torque wrench to torque it down to spec. It certainly easier than using elbow grease.

Well, I suppose any cap wrench would do, but I just ordered the Honda one from AHMotor.com Or just go to your local Acura/Honda dealer and pick one up.

Just tighten it with your hand. After the first oil change you will never need to use the oil filter socket anymore.
