Default removing siezed ball joint?

trying to get off axles, and the damn ball joints are seized up.. are there any non destructive methods to getting these damn things out? ive tried hammering the side of control arm, hammering the bottom of ball joint, using a ball joint removal fork, using a jack to see if it would lift up, heating up the ball joint bolt, wd-40'ing the joint..

any damn ideas?!

if i tried to just jack or hoist the motor up, will the axles come out from the tranny end?

any ideas are appreciated!

thx,

Leo

I used a sledgehammer on the bottom of the balljoint.

Jack Up the Ball Joint as you pound the control arm with a hammer. Trust Me, It will come Loose.

well, tried all of the above, and here was the easiest that worked for me:

the ball joint wasnt coming out with the fork b/c it was angling the bolt into the control arm. guess this is why acura makes a 'special' tool for this!!

so, i used a 2nd one, and made sure it would pull out evenly - and bingo!

so, if others have this prob.. this method may help!

thx all...
