Default Well.. Ill be damned

Its happened again.. Atleast this time not so bad, I have the worse luck with my prelude and im thinking my car is cursed, When i got the car i blew the motor 4 months later.. I admit it was my fault doing 130 for about 15 mins. I didn't get my next motor for about 8 months, Got the motor in.Then 4 months later.. guess what.. hydro-locked motor, shot a rod through the block, 1 1/2 years later, 3rd motor, Now get this, I have only driven the car 3 ******* times as of now since i put the 3rd motor in, Drive it to the store, and its knocking, drop the oil pan and there are little shreds of metal everywhere from the rod bearings, So im at the end of the line, I dont know what the **** to do, Im losing all interest in my pride and joy, I would most likely cry if i sold it, But that maybe what it comes down to.... btw, Does anyone know where the find a crank kit for the h23 cheap?

i've seen a lot of people parting out their cars/motors lately, check around on the boards..and that really sucks man! I know what that's like, my motor blew, then got shafted out of an H22, and my car got stolen and stripped right after I got my rims and stereo....what can I say, the prelude's cursed!

Proven fact. Prelude is #1 car stolen in America.

[QUOTE= what can I say, the prelude's cursed![/QUOTE]

I could go along with that that, i had my lude for 2 years, the clutch went out, blew the motor twice, got hit by some dumbass girl, broke 3 axles, and the last time i broke an axle i got metal in the trans....

I don't think so...can you prove that?

There aren't enough preludes to be stolen

There are a shitload more civics/integras to be stolen, and the main reason they are stolen is there swapability w/other cars.

I can definately vouch for the cursed prelude idea...
i had my car about two weeks, then the clutch went. for some reason it took another two weeks for the new clutch to come in because of various shipping and stocking issues, then the day i got it back, i was in the first two accidents of my life, the socond one totalling my car via two collisions, my hitting someone else,and then someone hitting me... who took off without me being able to get any name plate number or info.

No, it isn't

Maybe you should learn how to not drive like an idiot...and maybe you won't have to keep buying new motors

Sorry to hear about the car dude, either a curse or really bad karma.

I just read about the Camry thing yesterday, go figure. The Teg thefts are due to people who want the GSR or Type R motors, mostly to drop into Civics or LS Tegs.
