I was wondering if i would be able to replace my whole wiring harness seing as how it comes with the ecu and full harness. Is this doable? If so it would make my life easy.

 

id rater just swap out the harness just like the motor and the ecu so i dont need to wire up for mpfi,vtec and all the other sencers, and lets not get into the obd0 to obd1 switch. Just thinking the harness swap would be the **** (if there is such a thing) let me know

Trust me when I say that trying to use the entire GSR harness is not going to make your life easy, in fact it will make the swap 100 X's more difficult. If harness swapping were that easy then you wouldn't find a lot of info on wiring up MPFI, VTEC, etc. You will need to transfer your DPFI harness onto the GSR motor and rewire to MPFI and add the necessary extra wires.

 

Are you talking about doing the whole car harness? Every wire switched with the GSR? Its possible. YOud need a GSR car wiring harness and gauge cluster, and a VSS isntead of the speedo cable. dahm that would take some labor though.
