Would you trade your '00/'01 Type R for '97 JDM RHD type R?
US model has better brakes and suspension than 96specR.
98spec is more on par with ours in that dept but has more power due
to the header but that doesnt matter either since most of us would replace
that anyway.

someone here on this board has a street-legal JDM RHD 98specr in WA.
if i had a '00, and a straight trade were possible, low mileage, etc.... i would say yes. yes it dosen't have the brakes or the horsepower as the later 98specr models, but how hard would it be to convert? and besides i don't have to worry about jdm conversions, recaro seats and momo steering wheels... all i have to worry about is making sure i get in on the right side of the car
