Default Are B18C1 ARP Head Studs okay to use on a B16A block?

I've done a couple searches and found someone who said it's okay to use a longer stud if need be(B16 7.1", GSR 7.2"). I can get a set of used Studs for 60.00 or wait and buy new ones for 100.00+. What do you guys recommend?

i'd recommend new if you can swing it... head bolts aren't something you want to mess with.

40 bucks, or kicking yourself in the *** later... ya know?

but yes, you use the gsr bolts on the b16 no problem

Not always. If you have a milled head and resurfaced deck you may never be able to tighten down the bolts. You may be able to torque the b18 but they won't be fully tightened down.

if you check the lengths and the head studs do give you some leway. just make sure the head studs are seated into the block completly
