A friend of mine will be running his car ewith this setup at the track next week. We are both curious to what he'll pull.
94 LS 5spd.
Aem short ram intake,
dc 4-2-1 header
apex n1 catback
aem tru time cam gears
75 shot of nos.
what should he be expecting with a nice run?

That's prob over 200 at the wheels, probably could run a high 13?

while were at it what will a LS with Drag 3 turbo running 6 psi, with all the basic bolt ons, and modified suspension?

 

depends.......can u drive? if so maybe low 14s high 13s

 

Well,

A turbo LS prob makes 230-250 HP at the wheels? You will have a slight traction problem , but should be able to get into the 13s as well. With slicks, you can prob get into the 12s or low 13s.

6 psi will put a LS at 230 whp w/ just basic bolt-ons? I always thought that 6psi would ut an LS at about 190 whp...but of course I know jack about turbos so...
I think a 75 shot should put a LS w/ bolt-ons into the high 13's if he knows when to spray and how to launch

 

The ls doesn't use the gen3 it uses the gen2, at about 7lbs. it will make about 190-200 whp and will run low 14's or maybe high 13's with a bad *** driver. One thing to invest in with that setup is to get some stiff bushing's and motor mounts wheel hop is a serious problem.

A 6psi GSR should make 220whp I believe though it depends on so many things.

As the your friend with the LS, high 13s won't come for awhile. Spraying at the drag strip is probably pretty difficult. Hell, I can barely drive NA'd at the strip.

 

high 13's would get my vote for the LS w/75 shot
