Well finally got the ***** to go to the track again.. the last time i was at the track i broke my differential. this time everything went smoothly...but im not impressed with the numbers...next time will be better for sure... well here it is..

this was on a d16y8 with custom 14b setup at 8psi.

My cousin on the other hand.....running a built b16a, running 10psi with greddy kit.

both of us were having problem with traction. What do you guys think my d16 will go at 10 psi? will have pic up soon.

 

Yeah, you 60ft times are terrible.

You have lots of improvement to be made.
With some better 60ft times, your et's will be much better

 

2.6 for the b16....ack, id say he had more probs with traction than you or he sucks

not tooo bad though.(both of yus)

 

You can see in my sig that my 1/8th time was an 8.8 with greddy at 7 psi so if you get better traction you should be right there or better. I just ditched my blue box yesterday and am running the afc hack now. If the weather holds out I'll be at the track tonight and let you know how I make out on 10 pounds.

 

Dont feel bad, I went to the track a few weeks ago and ran 2.4 60' with like 9.7 1/8 and 14.9@96mph 1/4 @5.5psi. Could not get the street tires to hook for nothing, I hook better on the street. Oh well goin back with better street tires next week and 8psi. Hopefully if I can get the launch down somewhat I can see some lower 14's or maybe even better.

The built b16 is way faster then mines. he siad he was spinning all the way to 3rd.

 

You ran at the Hill right? I heard there was some Turbos there but I didn't get a chance to make it. Your friend needs to get that 60ft down, if he's spinning thru 3rd then he should let off before then. His MPH doesn't seem like he's going to go much faster though.

 

yea i ran at the hill. there was a LS with a greddy kit running 11's....dont know what happened to him.
