Default Got my new INTERCOOLER :) Thanks Earl!

Got my 20x10.5x3 PWR Intercooler. for Earl. I got it in 3 days, and as you can see the quality is awesome. Great welds, and fast service.

Wish it was bigger

hmm, yeah i thought the IC was gold colored. but i thought maybe i was seeing things. real nice though!

so Andy, after you sold your Maxrev system i thought maybe you weren't going turbo? i guess you had bigger and better things in mind.

as usual Earl sells great stuff for good prices and helps us out.

Shouldn't the inlet/putlet pipes be in the center ?
With them being on the lower half of the intercooler the top section will see very little airflow, if any. In other words the top half is just for the bLiNg factor ......?

None the less the quality of the intercooler is awesome and welds are very nice.

If i am wrong/mislead , somone please school me

hehe that would be kinda tight if it was gold. It's actually a pretty shiny silver. It almost looks like the endtanks were polished.

"sweet" I was really happy with my maxrev kit, but I never got a chance to install it and run it. I still have my Maxrev BOV from my kit, but I don't have the info to the guy that bought my Maxrev kit anymore. He wanted to buy it, but ohh well. I might go All Motor in the future, but as of right now my project is Turbo.

"hulkhb" I was kinda wondering the same thing. I wanted my endtanks to be like the Full-Race Intercooler, but not have the backside outlet. A little miscommunication.

the reason i was asking is cause i'm the one who bought your Maxrev system. i haven't installed it yet though, still working on the motor buildup which should be done soon. sorry i don't need the BOV, i picked up a Tial BOV not long after i bought the kit for a good price from Colin.

yeah those pics really make the IC look gold. i though maybe it was a reflection of some sort, but it really does look gold in color.

hope everything goes well with the new turbo setup. N/A is always not so bad either, i still like it and may go back one day.

"sweet" Yah I switched over to a Equal Length manifold. I will probably end up using the Maxrev BOV since I am going with Aluminum Piping. The flange I got from maxrev is aluminum and I don't have a steel flange for it.

Noob question:

The dimension that you posted, is it overall dimensions or just core dimensions?

Are the endtank's inlet and outlet elbows included in the dimentions.

I'm trying to size an intercooler from PWR and was hoping a 20x8x3 would fit perfectly and handle up to 350whp.

Thanks guys,

Len

PS. How much did you pay for your intercooler if you don't mind me asking.

"len" The core size is 20x10.5x3. If you look at the pics closely you can see that I took a tape measure and measured the width including the endtanks. The intercooler from endtank to endtank is 26 inches wide.
