Default Installing Injen intake

I pulled the black cap off of the opening that connects with a silicone hose directly to the engine and there is a rubber or silicon plug in there.......... do i leave it on or pop it out?

are you talking about the Vacuum hose on the Throttle Body??
(Injen writes some confusing instructions I know.)

If so, Injen supplies a cap to cap it off...you can put that one on, but it doesn't fit very well, so look for it to fall off in the near future.

It is this one right here? there seems to be some kind of plug in the hole going into the intake and this is my first install so don't want to get it wrong....... I circled it in the picture......

Thanks

I don't know what the hell the guy above me is talking about however..

Are you talking about the hose I have circled in the image below??

If so, that hose goes from the intake to the valve cover and I believe that is has something to do w/the PCV system.

don't quote me on this, but PCV stands for Positive Crankcase Velocity..

I believe It has something to do w/keeping the right amount of pressure for oil flow.

Someone Please correct me If I'm wrong.

Neither the Hole on the intake nor the valve cover should be capped...the hose should be connected as shown above.

dude get a crankcase fliter. it will look two times better. you can cap the stub on the your intake tube. if it is like my dac. use a bolt to cap it off.
