I dont know what the hell the problem is thats why im asking you guys, to see if any one has delt with this before. Its a 90 dx the idle goes up & down , up & down , and you get the point.
TIA
Collin

From: yea thats right i got a flowmaster and it owns you, Oklahoma, usa
yea my friends b16 had a funky fast idle valve and it would jump from like 500 to 1200 and all kinds of crazy stuff
my dx used to hunt between about 800 and 2k at idle. i had the upper plenum off to clear my strut tower brace. i ended up putting a breather on my iacv. then i unplugged the connector to the iacv, set the idle with it disconnected, and plugged it back in. it idled fine untill i spun a bearing.

I just took mine off and cleaned it and it idles sooooo smooth now. I love honda-tech archives.

my 90 std was doing the same thing, turned out my throttle cable was pinched (cable normally routes between #2 #3 spark plug wires , dpfi) well i had it between #1 #2, moved it back and wallah. I was going crazy looking for a vacumn leak
