b18a in 91 civic which alt belt are you using and wiring question
first which alt. belt r u using i know its supposed to be an inch shorter than the one it came with but what is the part number?and is there any wiring differences putting it in an si
im using the stock ls belt on my b18 with a b16 alternator, before that i was using a crx alternator w the ls belt but it got worn out cuz of the different number of ribs on the crx alternator pulley (2 rib) , ls belt (3 rib)
There are no wiring differences. Reuse your old si harness. Ecu plugs right in too.
If you change pulleys you will not have the same ribs on the alt pulley as there is on the crank pulley, in other words use the teg alt with the teg crank pulley.

teg belt should work fine depending on mount kit, Hasport kits require you to dent the framerail.
the best way to get a belt is take the belt thats on there and go to the store and ask to see the belts .. then just look for the shortest one you can find .. thats what i do but im not sure the part number of the belts i get.. as for the wiring you can use the si harness the only thing you have to is extend a couple plugs on the bottom side of the intake manifold .. no biggie.
i dont believe there is a correct part number becasue there is so many different size belts that will work. you just need to look and find one that works for you.
