same - the gauges are
same - the gauges are
personally i like the guagues where i don't have to take my eyes off the road, or left at eye level.
mine are mounted in my dash about 2/3's towards passenger....just enough to be able to glance at them and still see the road ahead....
your guages are too low in my opinion....

This car didn't even come with sound deadening....

My theory on that, is just get a component set loud enough to over power the road noise...besides, I have enough go fast crack addict parts on my car to make up for the added weight...
As far as the gauges being too low...I have a light hooked up to the oil pressure if it ever drops to low that is plenty visible even if your blind, and the volt meter is just so if I'm sitting at a light I don't drain my battery with my system....It also lets me know when I should turn my radio off if I have my engine off so my battery does't die, so it's not something I really need to keep an eye on.
I wanted them lower cause I go to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami all the time, and don't want anyone to have any more insentive to break into my car then they already do...On top of that, I find gauges on the pillar really distracting...I don't know how people deal with those autometer A/F gauges on their pillars...I tried one of those, and it went out my window a couple blocks later.....
To each his own...
