14.48 @ 94 mph
I went to the track last week. It was a VERY hot day, about 95 degrees and everyone was complaining about their times. Several people were telling me all their times were about 3 tenths slower than normal. Since this was the first time out with my S I had no previous times to compare. However, I was able to muster a 14.485 at 94 mph. I did a 6000 rpm clutch drop and pulled a 2.1 60ft. Does this time sound decent for an S? I'm sure I could have done better with better weather conditions but does anyone else have a better launching method or tips I can use to better time next time out?

actually.. it's the other way around...
every1 i know of gets much better times at sac.. the last time i went to sears point, my trap speed dropped by like 4-5 mph down to 97, 98(of course, there was like a 30 mph head wind blowing against us). EVERYONE that day was doing very bad and no one got anywhere near their personal best (which happened at other tracks)

arent high 13's possible?</TD></TR></TABLE> Possible, but not common.. typical is like low 14's with a decent driver.

i ran a 13.992@101.16 on my bone stock 2001. I got a 2.146 60ft once i figured out there really is a whole trick on launching the thing. I was running a best of a 14.4 all day until around 3:00 when i got it down and my 60 fts went from 2.4 to consistent 2.1s with still i feel more room for improvement. I would rev it up to about 70, pop the clutch 75% hold for a split second and dump the rest of the way and off in vtec you go no 4-6 rpm hold up. My last 4 runs were all 14.2 and lower, i had 8 before that all nothing lower than 14.4@98
also i think you should keep in mind that your car is still fairly new. Power will go up as the mileage goes up.
I"ve seen s2000's from making the jump from 180 to 195 whp as mileage increases
