gapping on a JDM 95 H22A motor spark plugs???

Does that go for the copper ones also? because I herd the platinum already come pre gapped. BTW what happens if your plugs are not gapped properly?

if they come from NGK they are all pre-gaped. If the plugs are not gaped properly it affects the spark, which in turn affects the vehicles performance.
