Free AEM Intake
Hello Everyone,
It's that time again. AEM is looking for a 98-02 Honda Accord 4cyl for testing. The car has to be located in the Los Angeles area and needs to be a manual tranny. In exchange for allowing us to borrow your car, AEM will provide you with the free intake system of your choice. If you are interested please email: AEMTECH@aempower.com
Thanks for your support.

Unfortunately it's not. The dimentions of the V2 that would have worked and made lots of power, could not fit into the car. It made plenty of power and it is very unfortunate. Sorry for getting everyones hopes up.
I know this is off topic but a kinda serious question
I race a SOHC non-VTEC Accord in the East Coast Honda Challenge
I use your intake but was concerend about events in the rain, I do not want use a bypass valve because I want all the air I can get. My question is if you guys make a 2 piece Intake like the one for the 4th generation Prelude for the Accord? It would allow for the bottom half to be removed quickly for a session in the rain to be returned quickly for one in the dry
or can you reccomend a good way to accomplish this with the intake I have?

Cut it in half, that is what i did, after hydrolocking my old motor twice. When its nice outside just use a rubber hose and some clamps to hold the 2 pieces together.
