What is the best cold air intake to get for a 2005 Honda Accord?
I wanted to know what intake would be the better one to get. I'm trying to decide between the AEM V2 or the K&N Typhoon.
Which is better?

I was looking around on AEM's website (www.aempower.com) and it seems they only offer the V2 intake for V6 accords and not for the I4. Is this true? I own an '05 I4 Accord and am searching for parts.

if it's for the v6, the AEM v2 makes the most power. if it's for the i4, AEM CAI, fujita, k&n, they all make around the same amount of power. it depends on how much you want to spend, really. i believe AEM and k&n are both CARB legal, not sure about fujita

Do you have dyno charts that we can look at?
Do these intakes increase HP without decreasing throttle response? Some of these motors are drive by wire, and it could get complicated.
What's about the "Typhoon" moniker? Does this intake include an integral flow/velocity device like the very expensive Mugen intakes? I looked at the pictures provided by K&N but I don't see anything like that.
The 6-6 G7 cars, by the way, already have a cold air intake in the driver side fender. The filter's in the engine bay but the air intake is in the fender behind the plastic liner.
Somebody'd have to provide me very definitive results before I went screwing with that. :-)

Re: (George Knighton)
what do u mean by drive by wire? I'm contemplating dropping a CAI in my 07 4cyl accord. I could use soem mid range torque power. This after driving my boys 07 Passat 2.0 turbo for a few weeks. I miss the cornering and power.
I was looking at the K&N CAI kit for my 4 cyl. I love their filters.
