Do you like these rims on my 4th gen?
They look ok- your'e going to lose untold buckets of torque- get some HX rims- they are lighter than grandma's goat and look halfway decent.
bucket loads of torque? LMFAO. that dude is acting like a.)you had lots of torque to lose in the first place, and b.)you have some 400lb rims on your ride. I think the rims look cool on your car, and im not a fan of silver rims, but they add some character to your car.
OMG is that photoshop? i think so, my boyfriend just sold those kinda wheels of his civic, they are like 27 pounds a piece. get some gsr wheels.
am i the only one who knows how to read in here, he asked if the rims "looked" good, not if they "were light and would be good for racing".

ok ***, obviously i didn't like them i would have told him to keep them. GOD j/k. i don't like them ,sorry for not telling you !
so what was your reasoning for suggesting gsr rims? because they look better or because they are lighter and wont force his car to "lose bucket loads of torque"? how much would a set of gsr rims cost anyways, ive always wanted to know just for curiosity sake, no way would i put gsr rims on my lx, not my style.
who cares about the rims, thats a b16 under the hood. good thing you took the pic with the hood open, if you hadn't, there wouldn't have been anything to look at. besides weight issues, whats the big deal about gsr rims? i dont think they look cool on your car, they're stock rims. was there alot of mods to do to get that motor in there? whats you 0-60 mph time? what are some of your more memorable kills? damn, that motor looks so damn comfortable in there, I wish that was my engine bay.
I reccomend putting 98 GSR rims HX rims or the like on a hatch. I personally would not go over 15inch rims on a civic hatch. That of course is my opinion and I dont own your car so go ahead and do what YOU want.
all of these "recommendations" are for what purpose, looks or performance? It is my opinion that the dude who started this thread is more show than go being that his question was "how do these rims look". Now that we got that out of the way, what kind of rims do you suggest I use for the 1/4 mile up front, I have 17's and think it would look pretty stupid to get out there and run on them. I dont want to spend too much on them, so dont recommend volk's or racing hart rims, im hoping ot get some stock rims to run on, any ideas?
Yo Dude...I would recommend those HX rims someone talked about earlier..they are lightweight cast aluminum I think, and would probably be a good compromise for reducing rotational mass in a less than torquey car
if you want looks, then i say an easy cheap rims that wont kill your cars brakes and milage then go with gsrs.. they look good imo. If you want speed, get some 97 hx rims, they weigh 11 lbs each and can look good powdercoated black, my friend has some on his zc crx, it looks dope
Alright, yeah the rims probably look better than stock but I would go with some gsr mesh style. I got gsr's painted gunmetal and I love them to death. As for the weight arguement I also have 17" toxxins and they only weigh 17lbs ea if that.
Hey Man,
I think the rims look sharp BRO... I know it's just opinion and all but here in Jacksonville, FL I have not seen a Civic (4th GEN) with them because no one over here has good taste. But your doing good man.. Keep it up..

don't bother with heavy, bling-bling rims ...get some oem honda/acura wheels and paint them bronze or black...no winter problems and/or tires being $$$

here you go..my car with gsrs.
