Fast and Furious NX Nitrous Kit at Kragen???
Well picking up a new water pump i always like to browse through the "ricer" isle at Kragen to see what stupid crap i can put on my car..
Well at the end of the isle in a big box is a "Fast and FUrious" Nitrous Express stage 1 kit, clearly listing that absolutely no modification to necessary simply bolt on and experience 30-60+ hp gains, just like in "fast and the furious" the bottle even has a big F + F on it ...
does anyone have any knowledge of this kit? i'm sorry but in my opinion if you get your performance parts at stores such as Kragen, Autozone, Pepboys...then maybe you deserve to learn a hard lesson about learning your engine by blowing the crap out of it with their NOS kits.

Yeh I must disagree. Ive been to a Schucks(same as Kragen) that sells some bad *** doemestic stuff but crappy import stuff. Super chargers, Edelbrock, Holley,Wiend,Paxton,MSD etc parts. I guess it isnt your everyday ordinary Kragen though. I do agree anyone dumb enough to run nitrous on stock rods and pistons deserves to blow thier engine up.

We are lucky not to have any Pep Boys here in the Lou, but we still have Auto Zone and Parts America, so I guess they are the same thing as Pep Boys
well yeah they do have some nice domestic stuff..but thinking about it there isn't any stupid "ricer" equivalent for domestics and muscle cars ya know.

um whats wrong with running nitrous on a stock bottom end? long as you have fuel and retard your timing accordingly i dont see a problem.

Remember the target customers, the have purchased products like "performance resistor chips" (timing advance kit), "neon starter kits" (in case you can't figure out how to plug in a cigarette lighter), and light up valve stems.

I dont see a problem with spraying on a stock bottom end if the right things are done. Such as colder plugs, bigger fuel pump and of course take out some timing. Last time I checked these stage one kits dont come with fuel pumps and plugs
. Gonna be a lot of kids after the movie blowing up thier rides. Well, to each his own.

Yup, I ran the ZEX kit @ 55 shot for about a year or so w/ stock timing and 2 steps colder plugs

thats a *** kit... just cause it says f&f I would not buy it.

Regardless of the gimmicky F&F namke for it the Nitrous Express nitrous systems are bad *** and the F&F kit is a very very good kit comes with a fuel rail with the direct port nozzles that the injectors go into, a very very clean and good kit. I would actually buy it but wouldnt let Pep Boys touch my car! I am not sure if NX is selling this kit less the F&F gimmicks but if they are I would get it either way
