Default B20 Vtec

I was just woundering if the is any piston to valve clearence with the stock b20 bottom end and stock gsr head?

Of course there is clearence. If you mean, are there any clearence issues, then no. It will work fine.

no.. the gsr head will hit.. if you compare a b16/type r head to a gsr head.. the dishes for the pistons to clear where the valves are, are not shaved out all the way around.. youll notice on a b16 head it is a full ring around.. a gsr is not.. i would get someone who knows what thier doing to help you.. i just did b20vtec..

Itll be fine as long as you dont go installing some adjustable cam gears and changing the cam timing. This is only with stock pistons though so once you get some nice pistons itll be gravy. Good luck.

OH and i wanted to add that applepoop was mistaken. The GSR head has square combustion chambers which yeild .2 more compression points than a B16 with a round combustion chamber. Has nothing to do with valve to piston clearance.
