does anyone know what size the axle nuts are on a 91 hatch dx? I need to pick one up and i dont know what size they are
Yeah it's 32. Stick the socket on a breaker bar with extension, make sure you popped out that notch on the nut, have someone stand on the brakes and just put your weight into it, it should come right off.
Also, when you go to remove them, they have a crimp in the center of the bolt. You will need to pop this out. Just use a flathead screwdriver and a hammer to tap it.

Well I hope that they are the original axle nuts or atleast size that is. Limozeen ran into a problem where the aftermarket axle nuts were like a 30 or 31? Dont remember the size exactly but it wasnt OEM.

yulp
and like vince said.. could be a smaller nut.. see what they do when the treads get fucked.. they cut them down, then cut new threads.. thats loss of meat.. then they use a smaller nut.. sorta wack, but thats what they do for rebuilds. technicaly "it will hold"
for the most part, its 1 1/4, or 32 MM
