Default ? Competch Icebox Which filter?

For those of you using the factory black elbow with there Icebox, Which filter do you use from Comptech? The S2000 w/ a straight inlet or the GS-R with a slight bend in the inlet? Thanks

There is 2 cone shape with different bends They dont offer a new filter with the Si kit. They want you to buy the whole kit.

Damnn I ordered the S2000 Heres is what they said from Comptech

The ice box is just the box. You will need to purchase our short ram intake to work with it due to the way the tube is routed to the box and how the filter sits inside of it. Thanks.

Heres the set up. 00 Si in a 95 Hb. I am using the ITR black elbow. I ordered the Icebox for the 00 Si. I was just wondering what kind of hole was on the back of the box and how it fits when you use the OEM tube

don't konw about other cars, but... you can use comptech box with factory oem elbow, and the only filters that will be a bolt-on are: comtpech integra filter, k&n filter, oem or local autoparts store replacement paper filter.

If you look at both filters does the bend at the inlet matter where it goes into the box? Is there room to play?

i'd think it would matter, based on what i seen in the picture of civic Si kit, inlet looks straight, but they inlcude their own elbow. on 94-01 integra, inlet has a bend to fit factory intake hose. i've seen 92-95 civics with comptech box and b series engine and stock intake hose, but don't remember what filter they used.

The bend doesn't even matter. The S2000 Filter is almost twice as large as the Integra Filter, it won't even fit in the Box as it is bigger than it.
Just get the Integra Filter and use the OEM Intake arm
