if i bought a 88-89 integra haynes manual or a book of the sort...will it help me with my dohc zc rebuild? like internal specs , tolerances, etc.
because the motors are somewhat the same ..correct?
or if anyone has any webpage links to help me with my zc rebuild, or any information on this topic ...that would be cool...thanks.

 

dohc zc = d16a9 and d16a8

 

I am not at home right now; but I have a link set aside for the UK Rover manual which is the D16a8/9- it costs liek $20 incl shipping I think- I am about to order one. When I get home I will try to post a link.

Honda has a supplement for the DOHC ZC. You can view it in adobe acrobat. I'll see if I can find it for you. I used to have it.

i used a 88-91 civic manual and the 86-89 integra manual when i rebuilt my ZC. the bottom end is more like a civic than an integra (minus the pistons).

i have a ZC parts list in my sig that might help you out, too.

 

i got DOHC helms manual copied to Adobe ( PDF file) let me know if u want it .
