Default 20 x 6 x 14 slicks too small?

I might go to the track tonight and borrow my friends slicks. Last time I ran at the track with 205/40-16s so the slicks would be about 10% smaller then my tires...making my gearing way shorter..which should be good for my car sinc its NA.

Any comments?

Those slicks are fine for your setup.

Thanx for the response.

I think it will be great actually! I looked over my dyno chart..and did some comparrisons. With 205/40-16s when I shift from 3rd to 4th my RPMs fall to 4675 where Im making 115 whp and I ended the quarter mile at 93.3 mph @ 5256 RPMs where Im making 125 whp.
With the 20" tires...shift RPMs are the same however at 93 mph I will be at 6272 RPMs where Im making 150 whp! Should be awsome!

Well it didnt turn out as well as I would have liked...but it was my first time on slicks.

My first run..I got a 2.4 60 ft! Haha..and ran a 15.6!
Second run..2.25 60' and ran a 15.3..getting better.

Third run...launched higher...and it got better.
60' - 2.053
330' - 6.055
1/8 - 9.410
1/4 - 14.77

Now my 4th run..would have been awsome! But the damn tranny wouldnt go into 4th! So it fucked me.
60' - 1.928
330' - 5.986
1/8 - 9.337
1/4 - 14.854 <- missed damn 4th...should have been a 14.5 with the 60 ft I pulled!

I think with more practice and a better launch..maybe I can pull off a 14.49...which isnt bad since it was 97-98 degrees out and the elevation is 1250 ft.
