Greddy or Drag 3?
Hi,
I need help deciding on which turbo kit to go with. Currently I'm deciding on whether to get the GReddy or the Drag 3 Kit.
My goal is get somewhere in the neighborhood to 300 ponies to the wheel. Any help would be appreciated.

actually I should state why. Greddy is weak, tiny turbo, tiny downpipe, weak internal wastegate, does not come with blow off valve, does not come with intercooler, and not as much potential.

cops dont give a damn about no carb crap in california. According to my uncle, Seargent Highway Patrol, ANYTHING modified before the cat is illegal and will be sent to the state ref.
get a Drag Kit.
also dont get caught doing something stupied..cause they'll make you pop your hood then they'll see that nice little snail and send you to the REF
and for smog...hope you know someone that could hook you up

Even though I have the Greddy, I definately say that drag kit for what your goals are. Just be careful when ordering it. A friend of mine has the drag 3 on his 99 ex and his **** doesn't hit 6 psi until almost 5500 rpm's because his turbo is wrong. Now he gets smoked by me because he didn't specify 48 on the turbine like I told him.
IF i had to start all over and had some extra cash, i would go with the Greddy kit with a greddy type s bov and a greddy FMIC kit with a hondata system.
the greddy kit (i heard) fits perfect and is a true bolt on. This can run u up in the $3500 range though.
a DRAG kit has shitty fitting parts, and if i remembered correctly, silicone oil feed and return lines?!?! (vs stainless steel)
but a DRAG kit with an upgraded oil line kit and a hondata sytem would also do very well. either way, u cant lose. just do it right the first time with the upgrades
happy boostin

How do you determine the correct turbo trim when ordering the turbo kit?
